How does the Calendar work?

Modified on Thu, 27 Aug at 8:52 AM

Calendar brings your assignments, deadlines and revision blocks together in one place, so you can see everything you need to do and when.

  • Viewing your calendar
  • Adding something to a day
  • Filtering what you see
  • Launching an assessment

Viewing your calendar

Switch between Month, Week and Today views, or use List view to see everything as a straightforward list rather than a grid. Use the arrows next to the date to move forward or back.

Adding something to a day

Click an empty day (or use New Event) to open the scheduling panel for that day. From there, you can either create something new - an assessment built from the question bank, or a new flashcard set - or schedule something you've already created or been assigned, searching and filtering across your existing assessments and flashcards.

Filtering what you see

Use Filter to narrow the calendar down by subject, by who created the item (you, your teacher, or ReviseOnline), by status (not started, in progress, completed), or by activity type (assessments or flashcards). Items created "By Revise" are the ones automatically scheduled once you've set up your Curriculum Planner.

Launching an assessment

When an assessment appears on your calendar, you can preview it in a slide-out panel before you start, or launch straight into it from the calendar itself.
