How does the Study planner work?

The Study planner builds you a personalised study schedule around the assessments you already have, fitting them into the days and times you actually have available to study. It's separate from the Curriculum planner, which sets your overall syllabus coverage plan for the year - Study planner builds a short-term study schedule from your existing assessments.

Setting up your study plan

To set up a plan, you choose:

• The subject you want to study
• The section reference and topics you want assessed
• The assessment period you're planning for
• The days you want to study, and how long you want to study for on each of those days

How Revise builds your plan

Once you've set your preferences, Revise builds a plan for you automatically. It reorganises your existing assessments - whether they were assigned by Revise, set by your teacher, or created by you - that are currently incomplete or haven't been attempted yet, and fits them into the study days and times you've chosen. If there are still gaps left to fill, Revise creates new assessments to make sure your chosen study days and time are fully covered.

Viewing your plan

Once your study plan has been generated, you can display it on your Calendar, so your planned study sessions and assessments appear alongside everything else on your schedule.

Where to find it

You can set up a study plan from the Calendar - click New Event in the top right corner, then choose Study plan.
